Jesus prayed for the unity of the church on the night of His betrayal, and every gospel preacher should pray for the same thing. But we must also work toward that unity using the gospel as our standard and love as our motivation. However, brotherhood unity is not simple, and we must be willing to work together with wisdom and Christian character if we are ever to enjoy it.
