Eddy has been preaching full time since 1985. He is a 1985 graduate of the Memphis School of Preaching. Together with his family, he has served congregations in Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, and Virginia. He and his family served three years (1991-1994) in Tanzania, East Africa. He and his wife (Jeanny) have been married since November 1982. They have two sons (Kyle and Kirk) two daughters-in-law (Kellee and Kacy) and six grandchildren (Brody, Karlee, Connor, Charlie Kate, Hayden and Cooper). Eddy serves as one of the directors of Polishing the Pulpit (since its inception), and works closely with PTP and Spark. He and Jeanny currently work with the Pulaski Church of Christ in Pulaski, Virginia (since January 2020).
